Amidst all these changes, the volunteers and contestants of the Miss America Organization looked on, wondering what would become of this iconic pageant. For months, the fate of the Miss America Organization seemed to hang in the balance. In the end, the Miss America pageant, with the help of TLC, met modern times head on and presented a new version of itself to the American public. Miss America: Reality Check brought the fifty-two contestants into homes long before the final night of competition. Success: Starting A Local College/University Pageant

You may have to contact the president, the board of directors, or the student activity office to get more information about the steps you will have to take to establish your pageant. Most likely, you will be asked to make a presentation about your pageant, the Miss America Organization, and more.

The Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Organization holds a Miss New Hampshire ball each year that brings volunteers and contestants together and raises quite a bit of money.
