Tuesday Night Preliminary Winners!

On Tuesday night, former Miss Michigan Kelly Garver hosted the first night of preliminary competition at the 2009 Miss America Live! pageant. Two contestants were awarded $2,000 scholarships for their performance in Swimsuit and Talent.

Miss Indiana Katie Stam received a scholarship in the Swimsuit competition. She wore a black WinnWear bathing suit.

Miss Delaware Galen Giaccone won a scholarship for her piano talent performance.
