Thursday Preliminary Winners Announced!

On the final night of preliminary competition hosted by Mignon Merchant, former Miss Oklahoma, two contestants received preliminary awards.

Miss Vermont Ashley Ruth Wheeler received a $2,000 scholarship for her vocal performance of "God Bless America.:

Miss New York Leigh Taylor Smith received a $1,000 award for her performance in Swimsuit.
